Fios Review, The Mets, Kings of Leon, M & M's and other kernels

I recently moved, and got to experience FIOS for the first time after years of Time Warner and Optimum.  Mixed reviews.  I got it primarily for the multi room DVR and to not give Optimum any more money.  The multi room DVR is cool in the sense that the recordings are accessible everywhere, but you cannot be on the DVR in two rooms at once.  So if your significant other is watching their soap opera, you need to be watching live tv.  Also, the local sports teams are not HD.  Watching hockey in non HD is liking going back in time, only problem is that the Islanders don't have Bossy and Billy Smith.  Also, all programming has to come from one Hub (very inconvenient) and there is no pause or instant replay when watching on a non-hub.  Don't really recommend it.  They do have a good wireless router that comes with the service though.

The Mets are getting heavily criticized for not making any moves.  I say Thank Goodness.  They have rushed in the past and they always get it wrong.  Here is what they should do...
Cut Luis Castillo and eat the salary.
Sign Orlando Hudson to play 2B
Sign Bengie Molina as your everyday C
Sign Mark Derosa to play everywhere
Resign Delgado, and move Derosa to first if this falls flat.
Sign Jason Marquis and Kelvim Escobar.
Finally, trade John Maine to The Angels for Juan Rivera and throw him in left.
Keep the farm system this way, get some gritty NYers in the clubhouse, and if they are competitive, there will be plenty of teams shedding salary at the deadline.

So my daughter has an ear infection. All she wants to eat is M and M's. They make her happy, so we continue giving them to her. We have turned it into a way for her to learn her colors. It works a lot better than leap frog, step 2 etc...

The most recent Kings of Leon disc is INCREDIBLE. The commercial stuff is good, but the other tracks are better. Same goes for the newest Phoenix album.

Had to replace my garbage disposal.  Found out that the previous tenant bought the extended warranty.  They troubleshot it on the phone.  It didn't work.  They sent me a new one for free within a week, and then sent me a check to pay the plumber within two weeks.  Not sure about the product, but you can't beat that kind of service.  http://www.anaheimmarketing.com/  "the garbage disposal company that cares"  THEY ARE TELLING THE TRUTH!

Have Happy Holidays whomever you are that reads this.
